How to Check Your NSSF Statement Online in Uganda

Your National Social Security Fund (NSSF) savings are your money for the future. Checking your statement regularly makes sure your employer remits contributions and that your interest is credited correctly.

Ways to check your NSSF statement

  • NSSF Go mobile app: download it, register with your NSSF number and ID, then view your statement and balance.
  • NSSF web portal: log in to the member self service portal from a computer.
  • USSD and SMS: NSSF provides short codes for quick balance checks. Get the current codes from official NSSF channels.
  • NSSF branches: request a printed statement with your ID.

Understanding your statement

Your statement shows employer and employee contributions by month, interest credited each year, voluntary contributions and your total balance.

Missing contributions?

  1. Talk to your employer's HR or payroll team first.
  2. Request proof of remittance.
  3. If it is not resolved, report to NSSF. Employers are required by law to remit contributions.

Protect your account

  • Update your phone number and email
  • Nominate beneficiaries
  • Never share your PIN

Voluntary savings

Self employed people and those wanting to save more can make voluntary contributions through NSSF channels.
